I'd like to upgrade my Nvidia GeForce GT 440 to higher performance card without doing any other hardware upgrades, if at all possible. I'm thinking I'm only going to keep this desktop for another year before I upgrade. |
Currently I have the following configuration:
OS - Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor - Intel Core i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz
System Memory - 8GB
Board: 2AB5 1.01
BIOS - 7.09
The system I have is an HP h8-1010t purchased around the end of 2011
Looking to only spend only about $100. I've seen other threads recommend the GeForce GTX 750 Ti, but I'm concerned about issues of needing to change out the power supply and the motherboard. At that point, it would better to just upgrade the machine all together.
My intent is to have a better gaming experience with titles such as the 2K Sports games and EA's Star Wars Battlefront.
